I was aboard the Calvert from 1960 through 1964 we picked up marines in Okanawa on other occasions we picked some in Enchon Korea can’t remember if we carried any from subic bay never got to be frends with them always working.

My grandpa served in this ship in the 60s. His name was Robert Lee Reffke. Did anyone know him? I am curious to learn more about his experiences on the ship while he was serving.
