USS Calvert photograph, 1965

Appreciation to Mr. Jack Hancock, RM3, 1965-1966, for providing the photograph below for inclusion on the website. Jack also sends his regards to his former ship mates and to visitors of this site.

The original of this scanned image is a 11×14 black and white photograph of the USS Calvert, with a blue wash over the black and white surface, in excellent condition.

Jack purchased this photograph while aboard the Calvert in 1965. The photograph was taken by an official photographer and then offered through official channels aboard ship for print sales. His copy was mailed to parents’ home address. He recently re-discovered it (December, 2020). Much appreciation to Jack for sharing the original photograph with me and for thinking of the Calvert’s crew and crews’ family members.
